Cost-Per-Action is a form of marketing where advertisers (those selling a product) pay publishers (those driving traffic) for each “action” generated. The “action” may be a sale transaction, email address input, form filing, etc. This advertising model eliminates the risk associated with immeasurable return and allows advertiser to pay ONLY when a sale or lead is generated. CPA is performance-based marketing.
