If you are an advertiser using CAKE, it’s simple to add Clickbooth’s pixels to your offers! Because CAKE supports both HTML and Postback tracking, we suggest that you implement both - doing so provides you with the functionality of cookie-based tracking and server-to-server tracking. However, please be mindful that cake will only accept one Postback per campaign.

Step 1:

The first thing we will need to do is append your tracking URL in Clickbooth's UI in a way that will allow us to pass you specific data required for Postback tracking - our ClickID. To do this, we will need to add our {clickid} token somewhere in your link that will allow you to receive that data. Here’s an example of how the Tracking URL can be appended:

https://domain.com/….&s2={clickid}

Step 2:

To add your pixels, simply go to the “Offers” tab within your instance of CAKE. Once you open your offer, navigate to the “Testing/Tracking Tab”.

The “Postback URL (Server Pixel)” field is where you will be adding your Postback, and the “Pixel HTML” field is where you will add your iFrame Pixel. You will want to be sure to replace the placeholders in Clickbooth’s Pixel/Postback with the appropriate tokens from CAKE before adding.

Example Postback URL:

https://track.clickbooth.com/l/con?oid=REPLACEWITHOFFERID&clickid=REPLACEWITHCLICKID&cbtid=TRANSACTIONID

Example iFrame:

<iframe src="https://track.clickbooth.com/l/con?cbiframe=1&oid=12345&cbtid=TRANSACTIONID" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" width="1" height="1"></iframe>
